Nebraska Press Association Foundation Scholarship: Deadline postmarked February 17
Qualified graduates of Nebraska high schools enrolled or planning to enroll in post-secondary educational programs in Nebraska-based colleges and universities leading to careers in print journalism may apply.
Niobrara Electric Scholarship: Deadline in their office by February 24
Awards are granted to graduating high school seniors, college students, and non-traditional students that are served by the Niobrara Electric Association.
University of Nebraska Kearney Industrial Technology Incoming Freshman Scholarship: Deadline February 28
Loren Eiseley Memorial Scholarship: Deadline March 1
This scholarship is available to any Nebraska high school senior who has been accepted to an accredited college or university. Check for additional requirements.
Marie and Howard J. Taylor Scholarship: Deadline March 1
Available to any Nebraska high school senior with a special interest in the geology of Nebraska and the study of geology. The student must enter a Nebraska college or university.
Lincoln Gem and Mineral Scholarship: Deadline March 1
Available to any Nebraska high school senior with a special interest in the earth sciences. The student must enter a Nebraska college or university.
Marian Schultz Memorial Environmental Scholarship: Deadline March 1
Available to any Nebraska high school senior with a special interest in prairie and soil conservation. The student must be a full-time student at the University of Nebraska.
Marian O. and Bertrand Schultz Scholarship: Deadline March 1
Available to any Nebraska high school senior with an interest in climate and environmental change. The student must attend the University of Nebraska as a full-time student.
Robert S. Kubicek Memorial Scholarship: Deadline March 1
Available to any high school senior from Nebraska or Henry County High School (Paris, TN) or Colegio San Felipe High School (Arecibo, Puerto Rico) with an interest in business and the environment.
Maynard Jensen American Legion Memorial Scholarship: Deadline received by Department Headquarters no later than March 1
For students planning to enroll in a Nebraska educational facility of higher learning, must be a high school graduate or be earning sufficient credits to graduate from high school at the conclusion of the spring semester, or be enrolled full-time in a post-secondary institution as of the application deadline date of March 1st. They must also be sons or daughters, grandchildren or great-grandchildren, adopted or stepchildren of members of The American Legion, Department of Nebraska, or POW, MIA, KIA, or any veteran that was a current American Legion member at the time of death.

A current graduating senior who is attending a Nebraska high school that is accredited by the State Department of Education may apply. It is required that the applicant intends to major in business or a business-related field such as but not limited to Accounting, Business, Economics, Sales & Marketing, and Finance.

High school seniors that plan to continue education after high school graduation and reside in BBB’s service area - Nebraska, South Dakota, The Kansas Plains (all counties except: Franklin, Johnson, Leavenworth, Linn, Miami and Wyandotte) or Southwest Iowa (includes: Cass, Fremont, Harrison, Mills, Montgomery, Page, Pottawattamie and Shelby counties) may apply. The scholarship is to recognize high school seniors who personify the values of leadership and integrity– humility, courage, compassion and respect with an emphasis on the importance of ethical behavior, community service, and academic accomplishments.
Western Nebraska Administrators' Education Scholarship: Deadline March 15
Students must graduate from a high school whose administrator is a paid member of WNA. Applicants must indicate interest in a career in the educational field.
Westco Scholarship: Deadline March 17
Applicants must be enrolled in a college or trade school in the Fall of 2017 and plan to return to the WESTCO territory following graduation.
Western Nebraska Human Resources Management Association Scholarship: Deadline March 24
Applicant must be a resident of Scotts Bluff, Banner, Morrill, Box Butte or Sioux Counties in Nebraska or Goshen County, Wyoming. Applicants must major in Human Resource Management, Accounting, Business Administration, Business Management, Finance or Economics.
University of Nebraska Panhandle Alumni Scholarship: Deadline March 31
Students from high schools in Panhandle Counties (Banner, Box Butte, Cheyenne, Dawes, Deuel, Garden, Kimball, Morrill, Scotts Bluff, Sheridan, or Sioux) planning to attend the University of Nebraska –Lincoln the fall after their graduation will be eligible for consideration for a scholarship from the University of Nebraska Panhandle Alumni Chapter.
CHS Foundation Scholarships: Applications must be received by March 31
Graduating high school seniors pursuing a degree in an agricultural related field at any college or university throughout the United States and Canada are invited to apply. Students pursuing a STEM field of study with an interest in agricultural or energy related careers will also be considered.
Booth-Englert Families' Scholarship: Deadline March 31
Applicant must a)be a current high school senior or former graduate of any accredited high school in the following counties in the State of Nebraska: Cheyenne, Duel, Garden, Sheridan, Dawes, Box Butte, Morrill, Sioux, Scotts Bluff, Banner, and Kimball; b) demonstrate substantial financial need, and c) attend an accredited public or private post-secondary institution in the 2017-2018 school year.
Nebraska Legal Professionals Association Scholarship: Deadline postmarked March 31
All applicants must be enrolled full-time in paralegal, legal secretarial, criminal justice or a law-related undergraduate program.
Panhandle NE NAIF Scholarship: Deadline April 1
Applicants must be seniors attending an accredited high school in western Nebraska. Preference will be given to students majoring in the following: education, business, management, finance, marketing, sales, or actuary studies. In addition, preference will be given to students attending a Nebraska university, state, or community college.
Pink Bandana Scholarship: Deadline April 1
We have continued to offer a college scholarship opportunity for students who have battled breast cancer, or who have watched a parent or legal guardian fight breast cancer.
Johnny Baxter Carriage House Foundation: Deadline April 7
Students must be planning to attend a Nebraska Community College and enroll in one of the automotive related courses of study.

Nebraska Cooperative Council Robert C. Andersen Scholarship: Deadline April 15
UNIVERSITY OF NEBRASKA-LINCOLN COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES & NATURAL RESOURCES... Six $2,500 scholarships in honor of Michael S. Turner–one to an incoming student and the balance to upper class majoring in agribusiness or agricultural economics. One $2,500 scholarship in honor of Robert C. Andersen to an upper-class student majoring in agribusiness or agricultural economics. The recipient must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better. Check application for additional requirements.
Nebraska Cooperative Council Education Foundation Robert C. Andersen Scholarship: Deadline April 15
Applicant must be a sophomore, junior or senior in CASNR majoring in Agribusiness or Agricultural Economics at UNL and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above. They must be son/daughter of parent/legal guardian who is an active agricultural producer and active voting member/stockholder of one or more of the Nebraska Cooperative Council’s active cooperative members.
Nebraska Cooperative Council Education Foundation Michael S. Turner Scholarship: Deadline April 15
Applicant must be accepted as a student in CASNR majoring in Agribusiness or Agricultural Economics at UNL and have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above (upperclassmen) or have demonstrated academic excellence as determined by UNL from SAT/ACT scores (freshman). They must be a son/daughter of a parent/legal guardian who has been an active member, director or employee for at least the prior 3 years of a cooperative which has been a member in good standing of the Council for the past 5 years.
Presbyterian Native American Scholarship: Deadline April 15
These scholarships are available for Native American students who live off the reservation and in the Panhandle of Nebraska.
Security First Bank Scholarship: April 22
Applicants must be seniors at Sioux County High School that are planning to attend a college, university, or technical institute following graduation. The student must be of good character, setting a good example for others to follow.
Scottsbluff/Gering United Chamber of Commerce Agribusiness Scholarship: April 21
Applicants need to be studying an ag-related field including any of the following: crop farming, machinery mechanic, welding, crop breeding and genetics, ag lending/banking, fish and wildlife officer, park/ forest ranger, dairy farming, cattle breeding.
West Nebraska Blood Center Scholarship Fund: April 30
The scholarships are awarded each year to undergraduate students pursuing a career in laboratory medicine. Special consideration will be given to students who are residents of the Nebraska Panhandle and Eastern Wyoming.
Abbott and Fenner Scholarship: Deadline June 12
The A&F Scholarships are available to all high school juniors and seniors as well as all students currently registered in any accredited post-secondary institution.
